U8 and DSOL on the same day: disillusionment
From 7:30 p.m. the fourth team played in the DSOL and came off somewhat badly against Erdmannshausen. But we were also the clear underdogs; only board 3, where Fabian played, was balanced, on board 4 we were clear favourites with Andreas, and on the two front boards we were inferior by far more than 200 DWZ points. The form on paper held true on three boards, although Anton and Arthur played exciting games and held their ground. Fabian unfortunately went onto the losing track after a rash move and, after fighting to get back into the game, had to concede defeat. So we lost by 3-1.
