Four tournaments on Sunday: one individual tournament and four teams
(rh) We were very active this past Sunday. From 10 am we played, for the second time, a five-round individual tournament according to the Swiss system, with a guest from the Netherlands, one from Hungary and the winner from Turkey? The runner-up Feyre17 lives in Hesse, the best U8 player Azat, against whom I had to strike the sails, in Nuremberg. This also made the character of our team and club clear: we are active locally, but also online (all over the world).
After that it continued with two teams in the U12 Bundesliga from 4 pm. Schachfreunde München e.V. (Schachfreunde München e.V.) and Schachfreunde München e.V. (SF M) took second and fourth place respectively out of 15 participating teams. In the team Schachfreunde München e.V. 12 children took part and in the team SF M seven. In addition to the usual good performances of Benedikt (29 points) and Alexander (28 points), the performances of Azat (over 2000!), of JianQi (over 1950), of Elias (over 1930) and of Julian (just under 1800) should also be highlighted. Stefan also played some remarkable games at the start, one of them against Emir. Many thanks to all participants. At the end of February it continues; we want to take part with two teams again. Whether we field one very strong team with title chances and a further second team will still need to be discussed.

From 5:30 pm the U18 team played; it started quite well despite the absence (U12 Bundesliga) of some regulars. Arthur scored the points and we had received unexpected reinforcement from Ireland. At some point, however, the tournament turned against us and we were passed down through the field. We lost touch and got into a downward spiral. When we were already hopelessly in last place, we still scored points and reached the magic 100 mark. Next Sunday we attack from the second division. I brought Aaron into the tournament too late; he played as if wound up. Very many thanks also to Sebastian, he played both tournaments well and led the scorer list in the U18 team with 21 points.
In the Quarantäne-Liga 14B we had a guest from Germering and were present with 15 players in the end. Here I almost made the mistake again of calling Aaron too late. This time, however, I must say it was in good time. He played his way into the scoring list, just like Christoph (who also came into the tournament later), who had beaten an FM at the end. Chapeau also to Blaz and Andreas and to the whole team, whose average performance was over 1900. We were quite satisfied with fourth place.
