14 players took part yesterday in the U8 and U12 teams in the World League and held their ground well
Yesterday the Zoom meeting was fun again; instead of sitting anonymously in front of their computers, some U8 players chatted lively and commented on their positions. The U12 players were playing in the first division again. We achieved promotion after a long time two weeks ago and wanted to stay up. With great difficulty eight players came together, who then ended up safely in mid-table. Everyone was important for the team’s success.
In the U8 we fought with our Munich forces, apart from Leon, who was connected from Hamburg and was a little late. That speaks for our training work; in the past we had three reinforcements with Azat and Solmaz and could only keep up that way. Admittedly, towards the end of the 90 minutes our concentration faded and we slipped down to 6th place. In two weeks the U8 players say goodbye and will, from 2014, take part in the U10 team. We will gradually bring our young U8 squad up to speed.
