The DVM U12 comes to Munich in the year of the Olympic anniversary!
(rh) Life is slowly returning to our club venues. But there are also very important dates ahead that we have to contest: on Friday in the DSOL with two teams, on the same evening with three teams on 20 boards in the Munich Team Championship, and at the weekend with four teams in the Munich U20 league. In total 40 DWZ games are on the cards. At the end of the month we travel to Naumburg for the U12 Club Championship and gather experience that will be important for hosting the DVM in Munich. We are already looking forward to the exchange of experience and to the excellent playing opportunity for the team. We are counting on three of them at the end of the year too, since they are born in 2010. In addition, the application for the City’s call for tenders is due, which we will submit together with the Münchner Schachstiftung. It concerns chess lessons for second classes at selected project schools. Trainers can also apply to us for this. Our concept, however, provides that only club members can give in-person lessons within our projects. In the online area, teachers who are not club members also teach. Plans for the future: sooner or later we will not be able to avoid advertising a position for a Voluntary Social Year. In addition, a C-trainer course for our trainers should be due again soon.
