What is there to do!
The chess festival is over. It was truly an instructive event, both on a human and an organisational level. Once again my great thanks to all those who contributed to the success of the chess festival. They are all invited on Sunday, 9 July, from 12 noon to the Fasanerie beer garden (Hartmannshofen).
So much has become clear about what has to be done differently. The preparation, the teams, the financing all have to run much better. Without a proper sponsor there will be no new edition. There are promising signs for a big chess event next year. The foundations have been laid. With timely registration and preparation, 350 participants are certain.
