The final spurt of the crowdfunding campaign is sounded!
There are still about 10 days until the crowdfunding campaign ends. In this time 5000 must be reached so that the money for the chess festival is paid out. Good arguments are the strong field of participants with the rapid-chess vice world champion Vladimir Fedoseev, with the former No. 6 and super-GM Pavel Eljanov, with the national players Dimitrij Kollars and Frederik Svane (Germany’s No. 3 and No. 5) and Anton Demchenko. This time there are already five players over 2600. Close behind follows Valentin Dragnev.
In addition, during the chess festival not only world-class chess is offered but there is something for everyone else too. The hobby tournament on 23 October for all who will be playing a tournament for the first time, a school-chess certificate course for teachers and chess-club leaders, an event on chess and ADHD for the specialist audience, a chess camp with an Elo-rated youth tournament, and a large children’s tournament on Children’s Day.
From 5 euros, the bank adds 10 euros.
A chessboard with your own name is possible from a donation of 25 euros. There are still 40 free squares.
A simul against the Icelandic GM Gudmundor Kjartansson takes place on 03 May at the Museum of the Münchner Bank at Frauenplatz. There are still eight places for the challengers. From a donation of 75 euros it is possible to take part.
