Full success at the first Oberland tournament!
No less than 600 euros came together and, beyond that, quite a few Elo points. Among the participating teams we were the most successful. Congratulations on the cohesive team performance.
The 1st Chess Open in the Munich Oberland grew out of the Easter tournaments of TV Tegernsee. Our members were seeded at 5, 30, 55, 60, 61, 71, 72, 98, 125. In the end it looked like this: Tugrul from 5 to 7 but 150 euros and +8 Elo points, Lukas from 30 to 11 (150 euros, +49 Elo), Saksham from 61 to 17! (+98 Elo), Kayra from 60 to 30 (+17 Elo), Bruno from 71 to 58 (100 euros, lost a little Elo, an unfortunate draw, played three times against unrated players and won), Jonas from 98 to 60 (+35 Elo), Neyan 63rd, unchanged, Smrithi from 75 to 72 (Elo unchanged), Oliver from 125 to 104 (he gets his Elo rating after this tournament).
So there were thoroughly positive results across the board, and we congratulate on 1st place among the teams and on the prize of over 200 euros.
